This well-equipped little Seaward 23 was the last vessel manufactured in Guernsey by Seaward Marine Ltd before the factory relocated to the Isle of Wight.  Commissioned for an experienced owner, Elseaval was shipped over to Canada where she attracted much interest, cruising around Vancouver Island for a few years flying the Guernsey flag! She was then shipped back to Seaward Marine in Cowes where she has remained in ownership ever since.

Like all craft from the Arthur Mursell design drawing board, she is a robust and reliable motor cruiser and capable of cross Channel trips in comfort and safety.  Constructed in GRP and featuring traditional teak joinery, this boat offers durability and classic design.  The vessel is powered by a pair of Yanmar 75hp engines supplied by two stainless steel fuel tanks, with the usual Seaward cross-feed capability ensuring efficient engine use. For onboard comfort, it features a small galley in the forecabin with heating from a fan matrix system utilising warmth from the engines.  There is a V-berth in the forecabin (plus infill cushions to make it a double) and two shorter berths can be made up under canvas in the aft cockpit. in the wheelhouse. Elseaval has a range of Raymarine instruments including a brand new Raymarine Pro Hybrid Touch GPS fitted in 2026. The present owner has had the boat lifted to winter ashore each year at the local yard and has kept good maintenance records for service work and safety equipment.  

Reluctantly for sale now as her owner retires from many years of boating, Elseaval would now benefit from some further upgrades and cosmetic DIY tidying work and has been keenly priced accordingly.
