About Us
Safe, Reliable
Originally built by Barry Kimber who established Seaward Marine in Guernsey (Channel Islands) in 1980, these purposeful and seaworthy craft are renowned for their sea-keeping ability. Built on the same Nelson hull as their larger commercial pilot boat counterparts from Arthur Mursell, a Seaward boat will look after you and your crew when the weather may not have turned out exactly as planned. In fact, Seaward is renowned for being one of the most dependable, safe and sea-kindly boats, which is precisely why these designs are used the world over as pilot boats, police launches and search and rescue vessels.
Typically fitted with twin diesel inboard engines on shafts and with contra-rotating propellers, Seawards are easy to handle and manoeuvre safely in even the most difficult conditions. They have the look and feel of a traditional motor yacht, and everything fitted on these craft is fit for purpose.
For any yacht skipper contemplating moving to power, Seawards give a reassuring and positive feel at the helm, and the substantial GRP hulls provide comfort and safety for you, your family and crew. Seaward craft were custom-built for discerning owners, many of whom had extensive boating experience under their belts, so instinctively knew what they needed in a good sea boat.

WHY SEAWARD IS FOR YOU
“A classic British boat. Probably the most capable leisure boat in the world in its size. The Seaward is rock solid and likely to go through anything that the sea can chuck at it.”
